This asset is a component of MuleSoft Accelerator for Healthcare.
Appointments are at the center of all key patient engagement touch-points and appointment scheduling, in particular, provides critical value to patients. This asset enables call center agents to schedule, update, and cancel appointments as needed on behalf of the patient.
This template provides a framework for the implementation of the FHIR US Core Appointment Scheduling process. This API calls one or both of the following system APIs, which are configured using the following:
- Epic — (referred to as the Epic API) System API for EPIC EMR system.
- Cerner — (referred to as the Cerner API) System API for Cerner EMR system.
This integration template implements the Appointment Scheduling Process API specification.
